Come Dance With Me
A joining of two new souls in the light
Of a cold sullen which spaced in the night.
Found gazing into an illuminated tracing spiral,
Slipping into your eyes, glanced moments borrowed.
Freely we released the shadows of our thoughts,
Ghostly aspirations of the loves we have sought,
To share the evening without night’s lonely mask
And rejoice in the arms of sunlight’s dawning grasp.
I share now my soul’s tracing path,
Which once we walked together, now remain memories past.
A joining of two new souls in the dark,
The twist of life’s fateful embarks.
Once lusted by youth, now revered by old,
Spiritual binding glittered with dewlets of gold
Showered from heaven by minstrels so bold;
Who drew us along-side one another,
Amongst kind sisters and brothers,
All gently encouraging our cryptical plight.
Once again, as I press this crystal stone to my lips
And release from grasp, returning to starlight’s grip.
Our kindred spirits are now adjoined,
If not forsaken, only joyousness can come.
So I immortalize, here on paper, my intent
To bestow the same trust of love’s exotics.
To know, somewhere, our joining is by prophecy.
Goodnight my love, close your eyes, rest your mind,
On our mutual thoughts of one another by our side.
The comfort of illusions to our memories past,
Releasing our spirits in night’s lonely mask
And crystallize prophecy’s starlight grasp,
That we may dance in the space of the night.
Goodnight my love, close your eyes, rest your mind,
And come dance with me and other soul-stars in the sky.
