Bug Poem #2

BUG POEM #2

All right, this is obvious

I’m writing this right after the other

There is a locust on my thumb

Too much

Does every bug want a poem?

What a magnificent creature

Transmutations and formations

Unbelievable

So why won’t mosquitos

Leave me alone?

Maybe they’re pushing

For their own poem

Patience teaches the locust

So casually she sits

Observing my intent

Unalarmed

I will try to have her stay

On this page where nature calls

If she stays I’ll write more

If not, goodbye

Back writing again

For here she still sits

Grinning

I’ll go back to simple observance

No more words

They bore us

Expressions lack

When the universe

Presents

Bug poem

Again
