Space Race
There is a menace among us
Disguised as an unseen justice
That serves only to contain.
The very nature of human existence,
Which is not some grand delusion,
But an evolving holistic arrangement
To achieve higher levels
Of human development
With history still maintained.
A plight of delight to balance
Delicate designs of ever-changing silence
Scream for consistent rearrangement.
A gentle hold reigns stringent,
Force of life insurgent,
Rips the clouds with mountainous derange
And subsides a fiery eye into liquid.
A teardrop ripples on infinite oceans
Of space opening wide the constrains:
The very notion that humans cannot hide
But off this planet we must ride.
Into the sky, by machine or mind, we must sustain
A new existence in outer space.
So inside can heal in pace
With this harmless end let none complain,
If we are truly planetary friends.
